Join us for a networking event hearing from Nicole Matthews at Kittitas County Health Network. 

In 2021, The Kittitas County Health Network worked with consultants to produce a Child Care Needs Assessment for our county. In the assessment, consultants gathered data and information, highlighting key findings and presenting recommendations to address the unmet child care needs in Kittitas County. One of the sections of the assessment focused on Child Care impacts on the workforce, how the lack of child care effects employers as well as employees and their families. In this lunch and learn, we will be taking a look at some of the findings from the assessment and discussing how child care availability impacts the workforce in our community. Employer-based supports will be presented and discussed, reviewing potential solutions that that employers can feasibly begin implementing within their businesses and organizations.
