Learn how to protect your business from hackers at this Lunch & Learn presentation by Dr. Olav Opedal, a psychologist and data scientist with over 20 years experience in cyber-security and cyber-psychology.

Dr. Opedal will explain the psychology of both hackers and victims as well as sharing information about who the hackers are and why they target American companies and organizations.

He will also provide specific steps that small companies can take to avoid falling victim to hackers.

Lunch is included with the in-person registration. Those who want to attend virtually can join via Zoom.

Dr. Opedal has predominantly worked in the cyber-security and cyber-psychology area providing science based solutions and academic research in the psychology of  computer professionals, information security specialists, and hackers. Solutions combine quantitative and qualitative methods for models for churn propensity modeling, fraud detection, security, and behavioral prediction models. Prior to starting his professional career, Dr. Opedal served in the US Army.
