Downtown Ellensburg comes alive during Buskers in the Burg, a free annual celebration of street performance and community art. Musicians, magicians, card readers, and more will line the sidewalks, where visitors can watch, enjoy, and vote for their favorite performer. Buskers compete for cash prizes and a chance to shine on the main stage.
At Unity Park, entertainment continues with Junior Buskers from Make Music Ellensburg, high-energy circus and hula hoop acts from TwinSpin, and the unforgettable Eric Haines “One Man Band.” Between sets, enjoy performances by Valley Theatre Company, and don’t miss the roaming, sci-fi and fantasy-themed puppets from Blue Bear Puppet Lab weaving through the park and Farmers Market.
Families will also find plenty to enjoy, including a petting zoo, rock painting, and apple fishing games. Whether you’re here for the music, the art, or the lively atmosphere, Buskers in the Burg is a joyful downtown tradition for all ages.
