Community Mediator Training
At the Dispute Resolution Center mediators help resolve many types of disputes, including small claims court cases, parenting plans, landlord/tenant issues, consumer/business issues. Mediation is an effective way to resolve disputes as an alternative to court. People in the midst of a conflict sit down together to develop their own solutions.

Location
Over ZOOM (video and audio capabilities required) with a limited number of in-person slots for those with proof of full COVID vax
Fees/Admission
Cost is $600 for Yakima and Kittitas County residents and $650 for residents of other counties. Some scholarships may be available by application. Community members with bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
