College Rodeo weekend continues on April 27 as the CWU Rodeo Club hosts the Todd Anderson 10-year Anniversary Rodeo and silent auction. The competition begins with the slack at 11 a.m. in the Ellensburg Rodeo Arena, admission is free and open to the public. This event was invented as a way of honoring Todd Anderson, a Central Rodeo club member who died from a house fire ten years ago. The performance and rough stock is from 6 to 9 p.m. The club is also hosting a silent auction Behind the Chutes in support of the Todd Anderson Scholarship. While this event is an opportunity to contribute to a great cause, it’s also a great chance to see some live rodeo action in Ellensburg before Labor Day weekend.
