Empathy to others starts with empathy to self. The Stress management course will help you learn more about what stress is, why it matters, and how it effects your well-being and productivity in the work context. We will discuss the causes and consequences of stress on the job, the implications of stress for performance, and what are the main organizational factors of stress and how managers can help reduce it. You will be able to apply what we learn to your current work context by reviewing your and your team’s stressors and considering a variety of stress-management approaches at individual, team and organizational levels. The course is very practical and is led by Olena Sergeeva, experienced senior manager, educator and consultant. Contact CWU Continuing Education at 509-963-1712 or ce@cwu.edu to learn more or register.
