CWU Libraries present Cultural Conversations with Alejandra Tejada
Guatemala native Alejandra describes herself as an adventurer, dreamer, and entrepreneur who is in love with distant and unexplored places. Looking for opportunities and challenges over time, she decided to take an important step and emigrated to the USA to fulfill her dreams and life goals. She currently studies in the English as a Second language (ESL) program at Central Washington University. Alejandra will talk about her cultural experience, native traditions, learning a new language, and working alongside her uncle in his Ellensburg restaurant, The Red Pickle. The Cultural Conversations program provides a community forum for meeting new friends and learning about global cultures. Co-sponsored by CWU Libraries, Ellensburg Public Library, and the CWU Office of International Studies and Programs. Free and open to all. This event is available in a hybrid format. No registration required. Webinar link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83924046107 (link is external) For more information, contact Maureen Rust at mrust@cwu.edu.
