In an effort to increase awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community on the CWU campus, the Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) will present their Queer Film Series Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in Black Hall room 151. The series begins with a screening of director Jamie Babbit’s “But I’m A Cheerleader.” This event is free and open to the public.
Starring Natasha Lyonne of “Orange Is The New Black” fame, this comedy tells the story of a teenager sent to a “sexual redirection” school when her parents and friends suspect her of being a lesbian.
