In an effort to increase awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community on the CWU campus, the Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) will present their Queer Film Series Tuesday, May 5 at 7 p.m. in Black Hall room 151. The series continues with a screening of director Alan Berliner’s “Ma Vie en Rose.” This event is free and open to the public.
This French film tells the moving story of a transgender girl, Ludovic (Georges Du Fresne), finding love despite the disapproval of her family and neighbors. Their impatience eventually forces Ludovic to see a psychiatrist in hopes of “fixing” her.
