Embrace Unity: Come to a FREE Lunar New Year Luncheon feast celebrating diversity
A special Lunar New Year Luncheon will be held on Friday, February 9, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The event is a celebration of diversity within the community, emphasizing the recognition and understanding of differences while honoring the shared essence of humanity.
As Upper Kittitas County experiences growth and change, the UKCSC aims to reinforce its commitment to inclusivity and unity. The Lunar New Year Luncheon provides an opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and backgrounds that contribute to the community of Upper Kittitas County.
"We believe that understanding and celebrating our differences is what makes our community stronger," said Lori Nevin, Executive Director at UKCSC. "The Lunar New Year Luncheon is a symbol of unity, where residents can share a meal, forge connections, and appreciate the diverse backgrounds of Upper Kittitas County."
The Lunar New Year Luncheon is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors Farmer's Insurance, Riley Agency, Castos Inland Construction Group, and Cle Elum Dental. Their commitment to fostering unity aligns with the values of UKCSC. "We are grateful to the sponsors who have made this event possible.
The luncheon is free and open to all ages (youth with adult). The community is encouraged to attend and embrace the spirit of togetherness. For more information or to RSVP, call 509-674-7530 or email centerdir23@gmail.com
