The event will be moderated by hip-hop artist and activist, Jasiri X, as the prison crisis in America is examined. Jasiri X will analyze how various corporations beyond media and entertainment fuel what activists deem ?the prison industrial complex,? attributed to over 2 million prisoners working for various industries for a pittance.
