Historical Society Annual Dinner & Silent Auction

The Kittitas County Historical Society will host its annual fundraiser on Friday, June 28, 2013 in the Manatash Room at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds. The silent auction begins at 5pm, with dinner served at 6pm.
 
There will be something for everyone to eat and enjoy. Dinner includes delicious barbequed London broil steak, homemade potato salad, other salads, and much more! Wine and beer have been generously provided by Gifts of the Vine and Iron Horse Brewery.
 
There are many items in the silent auction. This year’s theme is Yard Art! Highlights include: wheelbarrows; a potting table (formerly used during WWII as a mess hall table at Bowers Field); a garden plow; a set of 4 wooden lawn chairs (circa 1940s); and much more! A preview of the silent auction items is available at the Kittitas County Historical Museum through June 27^th.
 
Special guest Kevin Barnhart will entertain attendees with cowboy poetry. He is known for his performances during Spirit of the West Cowboy Gathering.
 
Funds raised through ticket sales and auction proceeds will be used to help preserve the Museum’s collections and to support ongoing programs and exhibits. Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets today!
