Holiday Extravaganza

Holiday Extravaganza Dec. 7 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. SURC Central Marketplace CWUs Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) adds a festive twist to fostering public awareness and leadership with the annual Holiday Extravaganza. Bring the family Friday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Central Marketplace for a fun day of arts and crafts for children kindergarten through fifth grade. This event never fails to draw in hundreds of children, as well as 150 CWU student volunteers who will help attendees create handmade holiday decorations at over forty unique craft stations. This event is a fun and exciting way for children to learn about other culture?s holiday celebrations, as the craft stations will include fun and functional décor for holidays including Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukah and secular crafts.
