Humane Cat Trapping Workshop
Want to help local stray cats? Maybe you have a local cat colony that is getting out of control? Do you want to improve animal welfare in your community, but don't know where to start? Come to this FREE community event hosted by Kittitas County Friends of Animals! The workshop will be hosted in the public meeting space at Cle Elum City Hall - 119 W First St., across the street from Shortstop gas station. Watch a short presentation to learn about the financial resources we offer to trap-neuter-return (TNR) feral cats, learn the easy process for renting our equipment and making an appointment, and practice using our safe and humane cat-capturing cages. We will have plenty of cages for you to get some hands on practice! Once you learn about the TNR process, it will be so easy for you to start helping local animals and reducing animal suffering in Kittitas County. We need all the help we can get from our neighbors to get our feral cat population under control. Email kcfoa2002@gmail.com or send us a message on Facebook if you have any questions. Note: no live animals will be at this event.
