Everyone has the power to do something that improves the life of another. Whether it?s starting a project that helps one person or working on one that benefits a whole community, every contribution makes a difference. The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) wants to give CWU Students an opportunity to participate in Make a Difference Day, the largest single-day volunteering effort in the country, by helping the Ellensburg Downtown Association prepare the 65 downtown flower pots for winter. Join your peers and colleagues for a fun outdoor activity while also helping to preserve the beauty of downtown Ellensburg. Volunteer check in is at 9:30 a.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Pit and will leave by 10 a.m. for Rotary Pavilion. For more information contact the CLCE at 509-963-1850, email clce@cwu.edu, visit their website at www.cwu.edu/leadership-engage or stop by their office in SURC 256.
