Kittitas County Open house on Growth Management Hearings
On June 26, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Kittitas County will be holding an open house regarding changes to the county comprehensive plan and code regulations to protect the quality and quantity of ground and surface water. The meeting will be held at the Teanaway Hall at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds.
Staff from Kittitas County Community Development Services (KCCDS) and Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) will be present to discuss their efforts to comply with the Growth Management Hearings Board and protect the future of ground and surface water in Kittitas County.
“This is the public’s time to ask their questions and give their feedback regarding our efforts,” says Dr. Mark Larson, Kittitas County Health Officer.
KCCDS and KCPHD staff members will be giving brief presentations, with time reserved after to answer questions regarding the history of these compliance efforts, land use changes, water restrictions, and metering.
