Lecture: Ellensburg's Ties to the Civil War- Oct. 22 7:00 p.m. Kittitas County Historical Museum, 114 E. Third Ave., Ellensburg In collaboration with the CWU James E. Brooks Library, the Kittitas County Historical Museum presents ?Ellensburg?s Ties to the Civil War,? a lecture by museum director Sadie Thayer Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Kittitas County Historical Museum, located at 114 E. Third Avenue in Ellensburg. This event is free and will include refreshments. Thayer?s lecture will illustrate Ellensburg and Kittitas counties? involvement in the U.S. Civil war through a presentation with images and museum artifacts. This lecture is the perfect complement to the display in the CWU Library lobby, which features Civil War relics, books and DVDs that will be on display through Tuesday, Oct. 23. Don?t miss the chance to see one of the defining time periods in American history from the unique Ellensburg perspective.
