Ava Chin, author of Eating Wildly: Foraging for Life, Love, and the Perfect Meal, will be reading from her latest work at Central Washington University on April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Ballroom. Chin will hold a craft talk, Why I Write: Tips for Aspiring Writers,? earlier that day at noon in Black Hall Room 151. The reading, followed by a book signing, and craft talk is free and open to the public. Her latest work won 1st Prize in the 2015 M.F.K. Fisher Book Awards and Kirkus called Eating Wildly ?A delectable feast of the heart.? A former slam poet, The Huffington Post named her one of "9 Contemporary Authors You Should Be Reading."
