Roslyn Mountain Ale Festival Information
Mountain Ale Festival is set to take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
- 10+ Breweries (Wineries and Cideries welcome on a limited basis)
- Set in historic downtown Roslyn
- Estimated 300 attendees
- 4 hours (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
- Live music at Roslyn Yard
- Food by vendors & downtown businesses
- And did we mention, BEER!
Event Hours
Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
The Brewery, Cidery, Distillery & Winery Agrees to the following:
- Check in by 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Ale Headquarters (Roslyn Yard)
- Once checked in, we will direct you to your location.
- Brewery staff need to be ready to start serving beer to attendees at 1:00 p.m. Staff need to check-out at event headquarters at 5:00 p.m.
- Submit an invoice for kegs tapped during check-out between 5:00-5:30 p.m. at the event headquarters as all alcohol must be paid for by the conclusion of the event. We cannot pay you for your tapped kegs without an invoice.
- If your brewery plans to have a distributor deliver the beer, payment for the beer delivered from the distributor must be taken care of before beer is delivered. Please have your distributor contact us for payment.
- Ice, water pitchers, dump buckets, paper towels, tables and black table linens
Breweries provide:
- Beer for at least 300 attendees using a 5 oz tasting glass
- Serving apparatus (jockey boxes, taps, etc.)
- 10x10 canopy tent. Canopy tents are required due to the possibility of inclement weather at the event.
- Brewery logo/branding
- Brewery signage
- Staff to pour and promote your product (preferably 2 staff members)
- Invoice | *donations of beer are welcome and greatly appreciated
Special Occasion License
The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce is the Special Occasion Licensee of this event. Breweries must comply with all LCB regulations.

Alcohol Rules & Regulations - It is pertinent that these rules be followed. They will be strictly enforced at the event.
- Abstain from pouring any alcohol before 1:00 p.m. and after 5:00 p.m., in compliance with our Special Occasion License through Washington State Liquor Control Board.
- Abstain from consuming alcohol behind the taps while working the event, in compliance with WA State liquor laws. Failure to comply can result in suspension from participation and potentially jeopardize your company's liquor license.
Pouring at the Event
- A max of (2) brewery staff members are permitted behind the booth at one time.
- Brewery staff must abstain from pouring any alcohol before 1:00 p.m. and after 5:00 p.m., in compliance with our event license. Event hours are 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Brewery staff must abstain from consuming alcohol behind the taps before, during and after the event to be in compliance with all WSLCB rules.
- Brewery staff must collect a scrip ticket for each beer tasting served from their taps. Tastes or any beer given away without a scrip ticket are not permitted.
SWAG / Merch
- Brewery staff cannot sell any merchandise at their booth. Swag including glassware and stickers are not allowed at the event. There is a $10 fine per item.
*Any representative, volunteer, supplier, employee, or any other affiliate who is working the event for your brewery who violates these terms will result in your brewery being asked to leave the festival. Violators may be banned from participating in future Roslyn Mountain Ale Festival.
Cancellation
Either party reserves the right to cancel their participation in the event up to 30 days before the scheduled event date without penalty due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, government orders or restrictions, public health emergencies, or other force majeure events.
