Missoula Children's Theatre
The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) will be back in Ellensburg this January, leading 50-60 local students in grades K-12 in a production of "Treasure Island," an original adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s epic novel. Sign up for a free MCT workshop on January 20 at the Hal Holmes Community Center. 1 p.m. Drama Quest - Grades K-2 2 p.m. Acting - Grades K-5 3 p.m. Put Your Best Foot Forward - Grades K-5 Note: Workshops are limited to the first 30 registrations ONLY. Auditions Sign up for auditions, taking place from 4-6 p.m. January 21, 2025, in the Hal Holmes Community Center, 209 N. Ruby St. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition need arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15 minutes after the audition for a few of the parts. It is a group audition - no advance preparation is necessary. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time! There is a $45 participation fee for all those students that receive roles or become assistant directors. The performances will take place on January 25, 2025 at 3 p.m. & 5:30 p.m. in the Hal Holmes Community Center. Admission is $7 per person. |
