National Civics Bee Competition
🌟 National Civics Bee 2024: Engaging Minds, Shaping Futures! 🌟
Join us on April 6, 2024, at the City of Ellensburg Public Library and Hal Holmes Community Center from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for a compelling and enlightening event that not only showcases the remarkable civic knowledge of Central Washington's youth but also provides a unique opportunity for the public to hear their perspectives on the issues facing our communities.
This gathering invites businesses, schools, and municipalities to participate in a celebration of civic engagement and community dialogue. The top 20 finalists will engage in a spirited competition, vying for prestigious titles and substantial cash prizes: $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $125 for 3rd place. More than a competition, this is a chance for the public to connect with the voices of our youth and gain insights into the issues they perceive in our communities.
The top three winners will move forward to the State Civics Bee in Olympia next summer, representing Central Washington on a broader stage. Don't miss this golden opportunity to support education, foster community connections, and be part of a movement that empowers the leaders of tomorrow. Let's come together to shape the future through knowledge, civic engagement, and the vibrant perspectives of our youth at the National Civics Bee 2024!
