Tea at 3 is an engaging and interactive speaker series where attendees hear from CWU faculty, staff and community members as they share stories of their personal journeys to their current places in life. On Wednesday, June 1, attendees can join Dr. Stacey Robertson, CWUs dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Pit at 3 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public. Dr. Robertson officially took the position as dean of the College of Arts and Humanities in February 2015 after teaching and serving as interim dean for two years at Bradley University, a private university in Illinois, in the College of Arts and Sciences. Co-director of the national anti-slavery organization, Historians Against Slavery, social justice is a priority for Robertson. She brings this passion to Central, where she works to create programs and organizations that will encourage students to combat modern slave trading.
