Venue Agreement
The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce is proud to invite you to perform at our 21st Annual Winterhop Brewfest event on February 15, 2025. This snow-or-shine event gives 1,600+ beer lovers access to the best PNW brews and local music covering multiple downtown venues in Ellensburg, WA.
We are inviting venues to participate in our Annual Winterhop Brewfest. This registration is intended to explain what we will provide and what you, as a venue will need to provide, as well as serve as an agreement.
Winterhop Brewfest Information
Winterhop Brewfest is set to take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. Each venue will be OPEN at 11:30 a.m. for BEER:30 attendees, which are the VIP ticket holders.

- Set in downtown Ellensburg
- Estimated 1600 attendees
- 5.5 hours (11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

- Food by vendors & downtown businesses
- And did we mention, BEER!
Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. with BEER:30 starting at 11:30 a.m.
We provide:
We coordinate breweries, live music, event signage as well as provide a venue monitor, tables, dump buckets, and water pitchers.
Vendors provide:
- Space to handle at least 100 attendees
- An individual representing the business who is at least 21 years of age must be present on-site for the entire duration of the event. While the Winterhop Brewfest team will supply volunteers to manage the entrance & brewery monitoring, it's important to note that we cannot assume responsibility for other patrons within your establishment.
- A business representative must be available to open the venue at 9:00 a.m. to be set up on Saturday (2/15/25) when breweries and musicians arrive.
- Arranging table, chairs merchandise, or any other fixtures to create space for Brewfest tables and equipment will be necessary prior to the event.
- Sign venue agreement & submit payment of $100 to secure your business being a participating venue by Wednesday (1/15/25).
- Teardown will begin prompty at 5:01 p.m. on Saturday. Winterhop Brewfest volunteers will pick up tables and all other items at that time. Please allow us a bit of time to get to each venue before you close up. We strive to make sure all Winterhop Brewfest equipment is removed by 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Winterhop Brewfest committee will obtain a Special Occasion Liquor License and will provide the Liquor Liability Insurance for the duration of the event. If your establishment already has a Washington State Liquor License, you will be asked to sign off on the WSLCB application for this event. Be aware that our Special Occasion Liquor License supersedes any current liquor licenses during the time of the event. This means you are NOT allowed to sell or serve any alcohol for the duration of the event. The only alcohol being served will be the alcohol poured by our designated outlets. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The Chamber/Brewfest team may arrange for a musician to play at your venue, we pay musicians a stipend. If you would rather arrange your own music please check the box on the registration page. If you are arranging your own music it is your responsibility to pay the musician.
Equipment
The Winterhop Brewfest team plans to deliver equipment to each venue on Friday (2/14/24) between 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Equipment includes: Special Occasion Liquor License, venue sign, one table per brewery, a plastic tote with items like water pitchers, dump buckets, and a few other supplies.
Either party reserves the right to cancel their participation in the event up to 30 days before the scheduled date without penalty if the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to Acts of God, Acts of War, or issues related to COVID-19.
