We are looking for a Utility Maintenance and Inspection Lead to coordinate and complete all maintenance and inspection work for the electrical distribution system. The employee is asked to observe, document, and report on construction activities for compliance with contract requirements, and safe and efficient work practices. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and works to accomplish District and Operations department goals within existing financial resources.

The ideal candidate will have a journey-level certification in a related construction field such as line worker or electrician or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Candidates with degrees (B.S., B.A.) in Construction Management, Construction Technologies, or a related degree from a college or university are not required but preferred. For candidates not meeting the minimum education requirements, five (5) years field experience in construction contract administration, project scheduling, distribution engineering, or related utility industry experience is required.

This is a full-time position starting at $89,000-$115,000 depending on experience.  It is an on-site position based in Ellensburg, Washington with some work assignments requiring off-site supervisory tasks.
