Full Job Description

We're looking for part time cooks to join our kitchen team!

We have 2 openings (1 each at):
Wing Central
Blue Rock Saloon & Steakhouse

Please note: Blue Rock Saloon's kitchen hours are 4pm-9pm Wednesday thru Saturday, so candidates wanting to work at that location must have availability during those days and times.

Pay range is $16-$18 based on experience plus tips, approx. 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Making and cooking menu products to specifications
  • Properly labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating prepped food items for the line
  • Helping with opening, closing, and side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment, prep, line, and expo stations
  • Helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen, line, and expo area
  • Practicing safety and sanitation standards
  • Properly reading items printed on order tickets
  • Assembling orders - double checking for product quality
  • Demonstrating product knowledge

Skills & Permits:

  • Valid Food Handlers permit
  • Ability to standing / be moving for long periods of time
  • General knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail, and a sense-of-urgency
  • Good communication skills
  • Displaying a positive and friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
