Summit Speech Therapy of Central Washington is a rapidly growing private practice offering speech therapy services to local residents. We are currently looking to add a pediatric mental and behavioral health provider to better support the needs of our community.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals facing various behavioral and mental health challenges. This role involves developing conducting assessments, treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support patients and their families in achieving their personal goals and improving their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
  • Provide individual direct therapy along with parent education and training.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide ongoing education and resources to clients and their families regarding behavioral and mental health issues.

Experience

  • A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Current state licensure
  • Ability to manage medical records effectively while adhering to confidentiality standards is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to client-centered care are necessary for success in this role.

  • LPC
  • Pediatric experience.

Pay: $40.00 - $53.00 per hour
