A New Ellensburg Tradition, the Christmas season just won’t be the same after a visit from the Geoffrey Castle’s Celtic Christmas Celebration. This major production features the fiery fiddle of violin virtuoso Geoffrey Castle, energetic and beautiful Celtic dancing with The Seattle Irish Dance Company Dancers, The Geoffrey Castle Celtic Band, Guitarist and Irish Tenor Dan Connolly, and Seattle Opera's own Pamela Cassela-Nim & Veronica Nim.

Geoffrey Castle has been playing the violin since he was eight years old, emerging today as the preeminent pioneer on the six-string electric violin.

When not performing locally and around the world, Castle volunteers his time encouraging school orchestras to keep on playing. “Basically this show is all about the magic of Christmas and a time that predates the commercialized Christmas of today,” says Castle. “Be ready to be transported back to the Misty Isles. Plus one of Our Official Celtic Bagpipers will entertain pre-show and during the Intermission.

Proceeds from these concerts benefit Various Community Events & Student/Youth Programs.
