Paul T. McBride is an attorney in Ellensburg, WA with over 30 years of experience in civil litigation, construction law, business law, and criminal law. A graduate of Cornell Law School, Mr. McBride gained extensive trial experience while serving as a judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps for ten years. As a military attorney, he tried over 400 criminal cases at courts-martial, including a high profile death penalty case and two espionage cases. Paul served on active duty in the Marine Corps for ten years and with the Marine Corps Reserve for 18 years, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2011. While in the Reserves, he was called to active duty for two one-year periods in 2003 and 2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Following his active-duty Marine Corps career, Mr. McBride practiced civil litigation in California and Nevada as a partner at Kring & Chung LLP, with an emphasis on complex construction litigation and business litigation. For ten years, he served as the managing partner of Kring & Chung's Sacramento office. He serves as general counsel for several Northern California-based construction companies.
Paul recently opened his own practice in Ellensburg, Washington, where his wife is a professor at Central Washington University. He is admitted to practice law in California, Nevada, and Washington. His fields of practice include general civil litigation, criminal defense, construction law, and contracts.
