The Kittitas County Historical Museum successfully transported a 1904 Columbia Electric automobile to the Wild Horse Wind Farm Interpretive Center on Friday, May 23rd, 2008. The car will be on display until December 1st, 2008 to showcase the amazing power of clean, renewable energy that has been in use for well over a century. This is a great opportunity to explore the Wind Farm facilities and learn more about the "green" energy available through the services of Puget Sound Energy. In addition to wind turbines, the wind farm hosts the largest solar panel plant in the Northwest. Wild Horse is the only combined wind and solar facility in the United States, so when you have the opportunity, please visit!
