2008 Economic Outlook Conference

Dr. R. James Milgram...received his BSc and MSc from the University of Chicago and his PhD from the University of Minnesota.  The presentation will include a talk on mathematics instruction in high-achieving countries and promising new developments in this county.  He will also cover the NCTM Focus Topics.  In addition there will be discussion on what appropriate math standards and texts are and how to improve instruction.  he will conclude with a presentation on the Achieve Algebra II Test and what it tells us about what we need to do.
