The importance of donating blood can never be understated as even one donation has the power to save three lives. The American Red Cross and the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) implores students, faculty, staff and community members to participate in their Blood Drive Tuesday, May 26 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) room 137. Appointments aren’t necessary, though a valid government issued I.D. is required. The goal of the blood drive is to get 51 units of blood!
The CLCE is always looking for volunteers to help at this quarterly event and those who are interested are are encouraged to register beforehand by stopping by the CLCE office in the SURC 256 or visiting www.cwu.edu/leadership-engage/ and clicking the “Get Involved” link.
For more information contact CLCE at 509-963-1850 or clce@cwu.edu.
