Blossom is the new Black: CWU Fashion Show
Fashion Show June 3 • 3 PM & 7 PM • Milo Smith Theatre $10 CWU/$12 General • Open to Everyone Check out the latest fashion by Central’s own student designers on Saturday June 3 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Milo Smith Theater in McConnell Hall. Twelve designers have all created pieces from various inspirations like “Beauty and the Beast,” environmental issues, and Flamenco dancers. This is the 21st anniversary of the event and the styles shown represent current fashion trends. There will be a silent auction once the doors open at the 6 p.m. and all of the proceeds go towards the 2018 Fashion Show. There will be a raised runway, lights, videography, models and designers. Claim Clothing, which is owned and operated by ATM alumni, and other local retailers will be offering up clothing and accessories for purchase. It’s $10 for CWU students with an ID and $12 for general admission. Tickets are available in the Wildcat Shop in the Student Union and Recreation Center, online at cwu.edu/tickets and at the door of the event. There are three ready-to-wear sub themes in the show. The first is “serene silhouettes,” which includes pastels, mid-lenths and formals. The second is “nineties nostalgia,” which features vintage vibes, chokers and logo tees. And the final sub theme is “spring into the night,” which focus on festival vibes and statement jewelry.
