The CWU Brass Choir will present its fall concert on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in the CWU Music Building Concert Hall. Featuring triumphant trumpets, heroic horns, and titanic trombones, the free concert will showcase musical styles ranging from the Golden Age of Brass Music (the Renaissance) to the present, including composers Giovanni Gabrieli, Antonio Vivaldi, Paul Hindemith, and Henry Cowell. Of special interest will be original American band music from the Civil War and a surprising rendition of selected movements from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Persons of disability may make arrangements for reasonable accommodation by calling (509) 963-1226 or (for hearing impaired) TDD (509) 963-2143.
