Caregivers Workshop - Informed Choices
For it or against it, Washington voters approved the Death with Dignity Act in November 2008. Dr. Gregg VandeKieft, medical director for Hospice and Palliative Care at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia will provide an explanation of the act, the ethical considerations, the logistics of application and explorations of alternatives. Don't miss this FREE workshop for family, friends, and others who provide support for the frail, elderly, or people with disabilities. Both paid and unpaid care providers are welcome and encouraged to attend. The workshop offers information, support, and an opportunity to meet others who share your experience.
