Winner of 9 Tony Awards, a record-setting Broadway run and a musical score that has withstood the test of time, “Fiddler on the Roof” has enriched audiences world-wide for decades. Based on the writings of Sholem Aleichem, the story follows a simple Milkman, Tevye as he navigates the rough waters of a turbulent time. As Tevye raises 5 daughters, he struggles to maintain his familial and cultural traditions as the currents of political and social change pull his family further and apart. Strewn with such classics as “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” patrons will be humming the music from “Sunrise [to] Sunset.” Full of warmth, humor and a beautiful musical score, “Fiddler on the Roof” is sure to please audiences for years to come.
