Chili Cook Off & Cowboy Concert at the Grange
Bring your favorite chili to share and enter our contest for a prize! Or make a side dish for the supper - cornbread, rolls, salad or dessert. And what goes better with chili than cowboy music? Cowboy singer Hank Cramer and cowboy poet Paul Steurmann will bring their own brand of western music and storytelling to the stage of the Swauk Teanaway Grange at 1361 Ballard Hill Road, Cle Elum. Bring your pot of chili to the Grange, which is just off SR 970 near Teanaway Road, then right on Ballard Hill Rd, at 5:30 PM, Saturday, March 19th, and judging will commence at 6:00 PM. Bring enough to share, as these chili samples will be the heart of our potluck super. $7 adults/kids free. We expect over 20 varieties of chili and a great night of Cowboy entertainment!
