Community Development Meeting

Ellensburg is a strong contender to be the city selected by the State of Washington for a new pilot program sponsored by the Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation. The goal of the program is to develop a blueprint for sustainable tourism and food, creating a balanced plan for social, economic and cultural growth for our community. Discussions will focus on open space, energy, green building, regional shopping, historic legacy, diversity and supporting a healthy downtown.
