Cristela Alonzo, CWU Homecoming Comedian

CWU is pleased to welcome Cristela Alonzo as Central Washington University's 2018 Homecoming entertainer! Alonzo became the first Latina in TV history to create, produce and star in her own network TV sitcom, “Cristela.” She captivated audiences on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, worked crowds on Comedy Central specials, and shared the stage with fellow comedians at the annual “Comics for a Cause” charity event. She even voiced the spunky “Cars 3” character, Cruz Ramirez. Alonzo currently stars in her Netflix special, titled Lower Classy.
