CWU Black Film Series presents ?Malcolm X?
The CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) Black Film Series premiers Thursday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the CWU Wellington Event Center with a screening of Spike Lee’s monumental “Malcolm X.” This event is free and open to the public.
This film helped skyrocket Denzel Washington’s career and cement the talented actor as one of the best in the business. Featuring Spike Lee’s master directorial work and Washington in the seminal role of Malcolm X, this modern classic helped change the social climate of racism and discrimination in America in a positive way.
