CWU Brass Choir to Present Winter Concert

The Central Washington University Brass Choir will present its winter concert along with a guest performance from the CWU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble on March 1 at 7 p.m. inside the Music Building Concert Hall. Music for trumpets, horns, trombones, euphoniums and tubas will be featured in styles ranging from Renaissance to the present day. Composers from Italy, the Czech Republic, Finland, England, Russia and the United States will be represented in early brass masterpieces, major works for brass and entertaining arrangements of folk music, vocal pieces and jazz standards. The concert, which promises something for all tastes, is free and open to the public.
