Central Washington University?s choirs will present their Winter 2009 concert on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 4 p.m. More than 150 singers will perform music of many periods, styles and moods, creating a rich choral tapestry in this free concert. Included are all five of the traditional CWU choral ensembles ? the University Chorale, Women?s Choir, Men?s Choir, Central Singers and Chamber Choir. Music from the Renaissance to Ragas, Brahms to ballads, and spirituals to just plain silly will all be performed at the concert, which takes place in the beautiful, acoustic space of the CWU Concert Hall. ?All of the choirs are working hard and the students are eager to present their music to the Ellensburg community,? says Director of Choral Studies Gary Weidenaar, Persons of disability may make arrangements for reasonable accommodation by calling (509) 963-1616 or (for hearing impaired) TDD (509) 963-2143.
