CWU College Civics Week
To help the CWU and local communities become active citizens and educated voters, College Civics Week is back for another year at CWU with events Monday, May 4 through Thursday, May 7. All events are free and open to the public. With forums, debates and speeches by Representatives Melanie Stambaugh and Hans Zeiger, getting involved in the week’s events is a must for everyone. The theme this year is bi-partisanship; so don’t be afraid to mingle with those from different backgrounds who hold differing viewpoints.
In addition to a week’s worth of events, a showcase for programs and events will be displayed Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) 137 A and B.
