Seattle-based country music artist Nicole Lewis will perform Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. in the CWU Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Pit. The show is free to attend and open to the public. Lewis graduated Gonzaga University in 2008 and has since made a name for herself in the country music scene after winning Washington?s ?Gimme the MIKE!? TV competition. She has since rubbed elbows with Ben Folds and Vicci Martinez and has performed on various other TV music competitions such as ?American Idol? and ?The Voice.? Her debut album ?My Kind of Paradise? released in 2013, which showcased her talent in songwriting and unique vocal range. In addition to writing her own music, Lewis regularly performs covers of popular songs including ?Hallelujah? accompanied by country music artist Luke Yates.
