Local historian and story teller David Wheeler will reveal many unknown facts about Downtown Ellensburg, the Kittitas Valley, and other aspects of our wonderful county. The tour will begin with a 30-minute retro slide-show presentation followed by a walk around beautiful Downtown Ellensburg where you will learn about some of the first settlers from Civil War veterans to Chinese immigrants and much more.

The class will meet at 9:45am in the Kittitas Room at the Hal Holmes Center (adjacent to the Ellensburg Public Library) in Downtown Ellensburg at 209 N. Ruby St. Slide show starts at 10am. Remember to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. You may want to bring sunscreen and bottled water.
