Dozen Distinctive Destinations Celebration
May 12th is the day to celebrate with the Downtown Association, the Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce, and Historic Ellensburg as they coordinate this community celebration of Ellensburg’s most recent recognition by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of this year’s Dozen Distinctive Destinations.
The celebration will take place at the Rotary Pavilion and along Fourth Avenue between Main Street and Pearl Steet. Activities for this event will include: Mayoral proclamations celebrating National Preservation Week and declaring Ellensburg a Distinctive Destination; a downtown walking tour, live music, information booths showcasing Ellensburg’s events and attractions, dedication of two new bike racks, a scavenger hunt, a sidewalk sale, and there will be commemorative Distinctive Destination postcards available for FREE.
So come out and join your community leaders and neighbors to celebrate this national award.
