This enjoyable 104-kilometer (62-mile) ride travels through some of Central Washington's most scenic cycling country. Autumn colors, mountain scenes, historic towns, and the twisting Yakima River are all part of the experience. The terrain is gently rolling except for one breath-taking 40-foot hill climb. This year we have again marked an alternate half-century (33-mile) route touring similar country but turning around near Thorp. The short route avoids the hill climb. This ride supports the United Way of Kittitas County.
