If you're looking for a great way to get outside this spring, our fly fishing class is the perfect way to get started. Evenings on the Fly will teach you the basics of fly fishing in two evenings in the classroom and on the Yakima River! On Friday evening, at Worley Bugger Fly Co, students will learn how a fly rod works, how to correctly identify parts, as well as gain the ability to correctly choose a fly rod and how to properly rig your fly rod up for nymphing and dry flies. Use this evening to get to know your equipment and pick up any last minute items in preparation for your evening on the river the next day! Saturday evening will be spent on the Yakima River where an expert guide will teach students casting, mending, roll casting, how to properly identify insects and hatches on the river, as well as how to read the water. Enjoy the river, the sunset and the evening hatch!
