This Friday, May 29th, 2009 the Kittitas County Historical Museum will be hosting an open house event from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in celebration of Erin Black and her service to the Museum as the Director and Curator for eight years. Since 2001, Erin has contributed greatly to the growth of the Museum?s programming and services, the development of its community presence and involvement, and the improvement of the care and processing of its collection for interpretive exhibition, educational use, and research. All are invited to join the Museum?s Board of Directors, staff, and members in wishing Erin a heartfelt farewell on her last day as Director of the Kittitas County Historical Museum. This event will provide the opportunity to reminisce with Erin, friends, and co-workers; enjoy hors d?oeuvres; and congratulate Erin on her new position as Executive Director for the YWCA in Yakima.
