FISH Food Drive
Holidays can be tough and trying times for many, especially those who aren't able to provide enough food for their families. Luckily, the CWU Equity and Services Council (ESC) and Friends in Service to Humanity (FISH) are teaming up for the FISH Food Drive Monday, Nov. 17 to Sunday, Nov. 23 to help local families in need. Anyone is welcome to donate, and donation boxes will be conveniently located on the CWU campus at the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) East and West entrances, the SURC C-Store and the Student Government Office in SURC 256. Drop off locations are also available in the community starting Friday Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. outside of Grocery Outlet and Super 1 Foods.
The full wish list of food and toiletry items includes: canned fruit or vegetables, dried fruit, jams/jellies, pasta sauces, rice/quinoa, pasta/noodles, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, canned soup, mac n’ cheese, baby food, granola bars, crackers, beans and canned proteins, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and more.
