Get Intimate with the Shrub-Steppe!
Get ready to hop, soar, swim, skip, or slither your way to the annual Get Intimate with the Shrub-Steppe! Join the Kittitas Environmental Education Network (KEEN) along with co-sponsor, Yakima Environmental Learning Foundatin (Y-ELF) for a full day of fun exploration of the unique shrub-steppe environment. Held at the base of Umptanum Canyon inside the Yakima Canyon, participants will enjoy several outdoor education events including, exhibits hands-on activities and field trips lead by local geologists and biologist. This is a great family activities for all ages.
The Kittitas Environmental Education Network is a group of concerned individuals working together to promote, advocate and publicize environmental education within the Kittitas County community .
